Granite Belt · Tempranillo · 2023 · 13.0% · Edition 1

**Nose:** Plum, cherry, cassis, cloves, flint.

**Palate:** Medium-bodied with bright acidity and a medium-length finish. Hints of white pepper on the close.

## Verdict

A light, fresh drinking style that reflects the Granite Belt's cooler-climate character. It has the structure to hold a few years, but it's an easy reach now. If you're at the [Ridgemill Estate](https://www.ridgemillestate.com/?ref=volary.com.au) cellar door, ask whether there's any 2023 still on the shelf. It's a few years on now, so it may have sold through.
